Forró de Flor is an all-female forró band bringing fresh energy and heartfelt passion to the rich musical traditions of Brazil’s Northeast.
The group is made up of four talented musicians: Lucia Medeiros, whose soulful vocals and infectious triangle rhythms lead the ensemble; Erica Martins, delivering driving and melodic guitar lines; Isabela Menendes, adding lyrical and emotive textures on the violin; and Ana Carolina Wahab, grounding the group with the deep, pulsing beats of the zabumba.
