Formed out of a collective love for combo lineups of the 1960's, the Primetime Quintet aims to breath new life into the music of Art Blakey and the Jazz Messengers, along with the many offshoots of the legendary ensemble such as Freddie Hubbard, Benny Golson, Lee Morgan, Wayne Shorter, Curtis Fuller and more.
