Join Sweetie the Swamp Wallaby as she prepares for a very special surprise - her joey is about to emerge from her pouch. Luckily, she has her friends Edna the Echidna and Maggie the Magpie to help her prepare. Come join the animals of the forest to get ready for The Party!
Designed especially for the very youngest audiences, The Party invites children to explore at their own pace through soft interaction, music, and immersive storytelling. This relaxed performance encourages curiosity, connection, and joy, creating a welcoming space for infants, toddlers, and their families to share a first theatre experience together.
The Party by Catbird Theatre, is part of Backbone's Tiny Stages series (supported by Remy's Real Estate), a dedicated program of theatre experiences for children aged 0–3 and their caregivers. Tiny Stages focuses on developmental appropriateness, inclusivity, and meaningful early engagement with the arts.
