Save the date for a brand new event at the RQYS! Opera on the Lawn is a gorgeous evening under the stars, enjoying live entertainment and fine dining from our new chef Chris and his team. Featuring a three-course shared banquet dinner OR picnic charcuterie platter with welcome drink on arrival.
We welcome renowned singer Paul Gulinello and Soprani Vanessa West for an evening of classics on stage on the lawn to serenade and enchant us with a large repertoire of music set to delight!
Paul Gulinello's career has showcased a passion for Italian, Neapolitan, folk, and operatic styles. His passion for well-known arias and other classics is always on full-display during every one of his breathtaking performances. Accepting the role as Jose Carreras in the renowned Australian tribute to the Three Tenors was just one of the many performances that have left audiences moved beyond words.
Vanessa West is a Melbourne-born lyric soprano and Puccini specialist who made her international debut in Florence with L'estate Fiesolana—performing as Liù in Turandot and Flora in La Traviata. On the Australian stage, she has brought to life iconic roles with Melbourne Opera, including Gilda (Rigoletto), Cio-Cio-San (Madama Butterfly), Fiordiligi (Così fan tutte), and Donna Anna (Don Giovanni).
