Backbone Theatre for Babies Presents What's in the Woods?

2 - 9 APRIL 2026

Seven Hills Hub

What's In The Woods? invites babies, toddlers, and their grown-ups into a soft and cosy woodland world, straight out of a picture book - where each season brings new wonders to discover.

Gather by the campfire for a gentle, interactive story before venturing into a sensory-rich landscape filled with textures, sounds, and surprises. Through performance, puppetry, and play, young audiences are encouraged to explore, imagine, and engage at their own pace.

Designed especially for children aged 0–3, What's In The Woods? offers a calm and welcoming introduction to theatre, supporting curiosity, creativity, and early connection to the arts in a relaxed, inclusive environment.

Sessions are tailored across three age groups (0–1, 1–2, and 2–3 years), ensuring a developmentally appropriate experience for each stage. Audiences can also explore the changing seasons through four unique versions of the work: Winter, Spring, Summer, and Autumn - each offering a fresh sensory journey through the woods.

Created by Brymore Productions, What's In The Woods? is part of Backbone's Theatre for Babies program - dedicated to high-quality theatre experiences for the very youngest audiences and their caregivers.
