Urban Sketching in the Redlands

Urban Sketching with Redland Coast Art Society is a relaxed and friendly way to enjoy art, fresh air and good company.

Held every Wednesday morning at a different location around the Redlands, this informal group invites participants to sketch what they see — from parks and waterfront views to local buildings, gardens and everyday moments.

No experience is needed. Bring a chair, sketchbook and your favourite drawing materials, whether that is pencil, pen, watercolour or something else entirely. The focus is on observing, enjoying the surroundings and having a go in a supportive creative group.

After sketching, participants often gather at a nearby café for coffee, conversation and a cheerful catch-up.

Urban Sketching is a lovely way to slow down, notice the world around you and connect with other creative people in the local community.
