Redlands Diwali - 2026

Diwali 2026 is a free outdoor community celebration hosted by the Brisbane Bayside South Indian Association, bringing the Festival of Lights to the Redlands Coast. Held at the Sam Sciacca Sports Fields, Capalaba Bulldogs Football Club, the event welcomes families and people of all backgrounds to share in one of the most joyful festivals in the Indian calendar.

The celebration features live music and dance performances, food trucks serving authentic South Indian and Indian cuisine, clothing and jewellery stalls, and a range of family activities including face painting, henna, and a jumping castle for children. The evening builds toward a fireworks display, lighting up the night in the true spirit of Diwali.

Proudly supported by Redland City Council, entry is free and everyone is welcome.
