Yak 52 Experience
Experience the excitement and thrills of an adrenaline filled aerobatic flight in our Yak 52 powered by a 9 cylinder, 360hp, supercharged radial engine. Originally built to train pilots for combat manoeuvres, today our Yak 52 allows you to feel like a Fighter Pilot as you loop and roll through the sky.
Upon arrival you will be greeted by our team and receive a full briefing including all aspects of the flight, aircraft details and safety procedures. Then you’ll strap into the Yak and feel the roar of the radial engine come to life. After take-off you will set your targets on Moreton Bay where you will be commencing your aerobatic session including loops, barrel roll, half cuban, wing-overs, stall turn and flying inverted, resulting in G-forces ranging from +4 to -1 and reach speeds in excess of 400km/h.
Not sure if you are up for aerobatics, don’t worry, you will be in constant communication with your pilot via headsets and you can crank up the Adrenalin or take it down a notch at any point. Remember your in control of the intensity.
This is truly a fantastic experience and a perfect gift idea for that special someone.
Duration is 30 minutes from engine start to stop, including 20 minutes from take-off to landing. Allow one hour for your total experience allowing for briefing and pre-flight, photo opportunities, de-brief and previewing the flight footage, if purchased.
L-39 Jet Experience
Experience your childhood dream of becoming a Top Gun fighter pilot or James Bond with a Fighter Pilot aerobatic adventure flight in a Czechoslovakian L-39C Albatros Jet.
You'll undergo a full mission briefing to discuss the flight's intensity, safety and communication procedures. After a detailed run through of the aerobatic manoeuvres, you’ll be kitted out in jet fighter attire including flight suit and a fighter helmet. Make your way out to the L-39C and be strapped in for the flight of a lifetime. After a final run through and system check, you’ll be ready for the action to start!
After takeoff, you'll quickly ascend to altitude and after a final OK, you'll proceed to your mission area and complete a full range of aerobatic maneuvres - as mild or wild as you like! The L-39C is incredibly agile and you'll be looping, rolling and blasting through the skies with G-forces of up to +6.5 and speeds of up to 800 KM/H.
Following the aerobatic session, you'll make your way back to Archerfield for a de-brief and photo opportunities.
