Scenic Rim Brewery and Cafe

Scenic Rim Brewery and Cafe is a small family owned, Australian brewery from southeast Queensland’s Scenic Rim region. As the name suggests, the Scenic Rim is known for its natural assets. With fresh air, clear water and natural ingredients, they can’t think of a better place to brew beer the brewery is situated in the 100 year Mount Alford General Store.

They have created a range of beers to celebrate the place and people they love! All their brews are named after larrikins, and their stories like all things country, are best shared over a couple of cold ones and a bite to eat”. Their beers have been developed to quench more than your thirst. The dedication of Mike and Wendy combined with their passion for quality products – both in the brewery and at the café – ensures an all round sensory experience “After all, they have five senses and only one thirst”, jokes Mike.

Wendy’s Dutch heritage shines through in her cooking, perfectly pairing with their range of beer. The original shelves from the general store have been retained and are now filled from floor to ceiling with a showcase of local goods.
