Running Creek Beef and Running Creek Cottage Farm-Stay occupies a 670-acre grass-fed, cattle property in Queensland’s picturesque Running Creek, Scenic Rim just out of Rathdowney. Nestled at the gateway to The Lions Road, the farm showcases the spectacular McPherson Ranges, a spur of the Great Dividing Range.

Just 30 minutes from Beaudesert, 90 minutes from the Gold Coast and Brisbane, Running Creek Beef offers farm gate sales from its Farm Pantry and Tractor Shed Porch (by appointment) of its farm-bred, grass-fed beef, pies, sausage rolls and pasties along with delicious gourmet Scenic Rim and regional farm-to-plate products. Additionally, you can attend any one of the regularly hosted farm events throughout the year.

'Running Creek Cottage' situated on the eastern side of the Running Creek Beef is a 100-year-old, modernised, fully-self contained, farmstay, sleeping six with views of the stunning MacPherson Ranges. 'Running Creek Cottage' provides all of your creature comforts including a wood-burning fireplace for winter and air-conditioning for summer. Equipped with a freestanding SMEG Italian 6 burner stove and large oven, ice-on tap, local dairy milk, all linens and towels plus lots of extra's, you won't want to leave. Explore the 670 acres around you, swim in Running Creek, go Platypus spotting, feed the horses and finish your day sitting under the twinkling canopy of stars outside by the fire pit.
