During this guided camel ride, which lasts over an hour, visitors travel in a traditional camel caravan, the same style of transport once used by early Australian outback pioneers. Along the way you may spot native Australian wildlife including kangaroos, colourful birdlife, and occasionally koalas in the trees. Some riders have even reported seeing a platypus along the creek banks.

Enjoy a relaxing Camel Ride at Summer Land Camels, one of the most unique visitor experiences in the Scenic Rim region of Queensland. This gentle ride through the beautiful farm grounds is the perfect introduction to riding a camel and learning about these remarkable animals.
Your experience begins with a short safety briefing and helmet fitting before joining a traditional camel caravan ride led by our experienced cameleers.
During the ride, guests will:
• Travel in a traditional camel caravan across the scenic farm grounds
• Learn about camel saddles and how they differ from other riding saddles
• Discover camel behaviour and how cameleers communicate with camels using body language
• Enjoy the opportunity to take photos with our friendly riding camels after the ride

During the 40-minute camel ride, you will travel in a traditional camel caravan led by experienced cameleers while enjoying views of the surrounding Scenic Rim farmland.
Along the way, guests will learn about camel behaviour and how cameleers communicate with camels using body language. There will also be time to take photos with our friendly camels, creating lasting memories from your visit to Summer Land Camels.
