Thornlands Community Park

A fully-fenced playground and neighbourhood park that caters to all. A sensory and all-abilities playground providing climbing structures with towers, enclosed slides and skylights along the way. Climbing ropes and tunnels are also a feature and for the little pirate, a crow's nest, ahoy! Nature play features including a giant frog, stepping stones, pumpkins, watermelons and a bridge with a tunnel linking to more adventure nature play. A sandpit complete with diggers for construction fun is also a big hit.

A gorgeous little cubby house is part of the park with steps and a slide for more adventure fun. Sandstone blocks are available for seating or for play, along with barbecues and a large seated shelter with tables to have the perfect park play date. The double flying fox is also a popular attraction. The surrounding parkland features picnic shelters, cycleways and a grassy kick about space with new exercise equipment and recognition of the local area's historical links.
