Daisy Hill Conservation Park

Daisy Hill Road, Daisy Hill Queensland 4127

In the southern suburbs of Brisbane, Daisy Hill Conservation Park protects significant habitat for koalas and other wildlife, while providing visitors with a variety of recreational activities to enjoy. With an extensive network of shared trails, visitors can spin the wheels of their mountain bike, ride on horseback or stretch their legs with a bushwalk. Have a barbecue or picnic in the day-use area or trail hub and see live koalas up close with a free visit to the Daisy Hill Koala Centre.

The Daisy Hill picnic area and the Daisy Hill trail hub provide picnic and barbecue facilities with two undercover seating areas. Signposted walking tracks begin at various points along the edge of the picnic area. The Daisy Hill trail hub provides opportunities for mountain-bike riding and horseriding on the park’s shared trail network.

Enjoy a barbecue lunch at one of the shady picnic areas before heading to the nearby Daisy Hill Koala Centre. The centre is a free education facility where you can meet koalas and learn about conservation through the interactive displays and keeper talks held twice daily. Kids love the interactive displays. Experience a koala’s eye view from the tree top tower and look for koalas in the surrounding forests. The centre is open seven days a week from 9am to 4pm.
