Hibiscus Room

33 Burnett Lane, 33 Burnett Lane, Brisbane City Queensland 4000

Celebrating Queensland's vibrant lifestyle with a playful sense of nostalgia, Hibiscus Room is Brisbane’s new go-to for cocktails, classic Aussie fare and a grand old time.

The top of the town since 1970! First established in 1884, Lennons Hotel opened at the current Hyatt Regency Brisbane site on Queen Street in 1972, hosting world-renowned guests including Alexander Graham Bell, Sir Charles Kingsford-Smith, Dame Nellie Melba, President Lyndon B. Johnson and The Beatles.

Located originally over levels 25 and 26, Hibiscus Room was the city's leading bar, dining, and musical venue. Throughout the ‘70s and ‘80s other venues could only be second best to the celebration and finesse of Hibiscus Room.

Now, the Brisbane icon has been revived, with a nostalgic, vibrant offering of food and drinks across the restaurant, bar and events spaces. The 90-seat restaurant and bar, which surrounds the hotel's pristine infinity pool overlooking Queen Street Mall, some of Brisbane's most iconic heritage buildings, and takes inspiration from the site's remarkable history as Brisbane's premier lifestyle destination.
