FACILITIES AT SOUTH BANK PARKLANDS

To ensure your comfort when visiting South Bank, a range of facilities are available in the Parkland. Read on for more information.

Bathrooms and showers

South Bank has a range of bathroom facilities conveniently located around the precinct. Showers are located in Stanley Street Plaza, and toilets are located at the South Bank Piazza, the Central Cafes, Stanley Street Plaza, Little Stanley Street and River Quay. Visit the South Bank Map page to view these locations.

Parent’s room

There is a Parent's Room located in the Allgas Building in Stanley Street Plaza equipped with a microwave and change table. Baby change tables are also located in various locations in the parklands. Please refer to the South Bank Map to see where they are located.

Locker hire

If you would like to store a small backpack or small day bag during your visit to South Bank, lockers are located in Stanley Street Plaza, opposite Streets Beach (at the top of the stairs next to Southbank Beer Garden). Lockers are available for use during the Parklands’ opening times from 5am to midnight.

There are 20 small lockers that are 22cm x 40cm, costing $5 to hire for four hours.

Payment is by card only for the South Bank lockers. Please be sure to read the instructions of use carefully as no refunds can be provided. Contact the South Bank Visitor Information Centre on 07 3029 1797 or via email: [email protected] for more details.

Automated Teller Machines (ATMs)

If you need to get cash out at South Bank, there is an Allpoint ATM next to Cowch on Grey Street.

Bicycle racks and repair stations

South Bank’s bicycle racks are located at the Clem Jones Promenade, the Central Cafes, and Grey Street (outside the South Bank Cineplex). We also have two bicycle repair stations in the precinct which are free to use and are equipped with lots of nifty maintenance tools including screwdrivers and an air pump to help keep your bike in top shape. They are located on Little Stanley Street (near Garage Espresso), and on the Clem Jones Promenade (outside the River Lookout Cruise Terminal).
