Riverside green playground

The Riverside Green Playground is a colourful epicentre of fun, including a life-sized hamster wheel, climbing nets, huge slides and more, the kids will be entertained for hours on end. Sunday social

It's time to have a little boogie as live music plays at Sunday Social on the Green. Live music plays every Sunday on South Bank’s River Quay, located right on the river. Find a spot to lay your picnic blanket and have the little ones run around and dance to the talented musicians that play all afternoon. Wheel of Brisbane

Jem at Flowstate

Rotating global exhibitions, local artwork and kid’s programs make QAGOMA a ‘go-to’ spot all year round for families. For children under six years of age, visit the Children’s Art Centre to explore exhibitions and activities that have been specifically curated. For older children, the featured exhibitions that often travel the world are unmissable. There is also art from all around Australia and the world throughout the museum, to spend a morning, afternoon, or the whole day in – it’s a feast for the senses.

Queensland Performing Arts Centre (QPAC)

Maritime Museum

For kids that love boats or history, the Maritime Museum is the perfect place of discovery. Found below the Goodwill Bridge is an array of historic vessels of different shapes and sizes that have been around since World War Two.

State Library of Queensland

Kids programs, workshops and of course, books make the State Library of Queensland the perfect spot for a quite morning full of fun.  Aiming to provide opportunities for young people and families to explore, learn and keep imaginations big.

Queensland Museum

Located in the Queensland Museum, permanent exhibition Sparklab is a dynamic interactive space that is perfect for curious kids from six to twelve years old who are interested in all things STEM.
