Beenleigh Distillery, Logan

Beenleigh Artisan Distillery

As Australia’s oldest registered continuously working distillery (established in 1884) there’s something special about visiting Beenleigh Artisan Distillery. Almost 140 years later, the artisan rum continues to be crafted the traditional "boutique" way. Book in for a tour focused on the fascinating history, as you join the master distillers demonstrating the crafting process and tastings. Don’t depart without dining at the onsite restaurant of classic pub food, served with award winning wines, local craft beers, cocktails and of course, a speciality Beenleigh Artisan Distillery craft rum.

Beenleigh’s BMX and Skate Park

Changing the pace but not the neighbourhood, Beenleigh’s BMX and Skate Park is not your average suburban skating spot. In fact, this large-scale urban course attracts avid riders and serious skaters from near and far, pick your set of wheels and give it a go yourself, but don’t forget your helmet!

Markets

Logan’s markets are the perfect weekend activity, packed with flavour, culture, and entertainment for all ages. In Eagleby, you'll find Logan’s largest dining and entertainment precinct - the Distillery Road Market. Whether you’re looking for a hearty meal to enjoy with friends, play trivia, attend a live music gig, or browse local artisan stalls, you’ll find it all in the buzzing market hall.

The Alien Night Market is another must-visit for families and food lovers, lighting up the night with global street food, live entertainment, and an electric atmosphere. For a Sunday morning experience, head to the Global Food Markets in Woodridge, where you’ll find fresh produce and authentic international cuisine from Logan’s multicultural community.

Big Swing Golf Underwood

For those who prefer safety in sport, Big Swing Golf Underwood offers the opportunity to swing a golf club as soft or hard as your heart desires into a golf-simulated machine. This experience comes paired with food and drink service, clubs to rent and other arcade games. This is the place to bring a group of mates for a great day out.

Beenleigh Historical Village and Museum

History lovers can take a walk down heritage lane at the Beenleigh Historical Village and Museum. This living museum allows visitors to wander through its collection of heritage buildings, including its old schoolhouse, general store and more. There’s also a print museum for devotees of the written word to explore.

The village is home to the Tin Cup Café, where sustaining breakfasts fuel visitors for a history-rich morning ahead.

Kayak the local rivers

If it’s your first time visiting Logan, you may not realise that this region is filled with waterways that allow go-getter travellers to paddle, by kayak or canoe through naturally diverse areas. Logan River and Albert River are ideal for following canoe trails and getting up-close with local wildlife.

Kingston Park Raceway

Kids both big and small can get in on the action at Kingston Park Raceway, with three separate racetracks to choose from. Littlies can get involved in the Rookie Karts as well, so no one is left out. Hit the gas, it's time to race!

Bayside Wake Park

Are you ready to give something new a go? Not quite surfing, not quite snowboarding but this Bayside Wake Park will give you the same adrenaline rush. If you’re after an action-packed adventure, discover the wakeboard and water sports park located in Carbrook. Join in the fun with wakeboarding, wakeskating or kneeboarding with encouragement from skilled and trained staff for an enjoyable day out.

Daisy Hill Koala Centre

Another way to get to know local wildlife in Logan is to visit the sprawling Daisy Hill Koala Centre. Take a picnic, have a barbecue on site and wander the grounds before heading to the koala centre where you’ll spy these sleepy guys huddled into gumtrees for their lengthy naps, or chowing down on gum leaves.

Springwood Conservation Park
