Riverside Green Playground

Riverside Green Playground overlooks the Brisbane River and features state-of-the-art equipment including rope bridges, multiple slides, climbing structures, mouse house, spinning supernova and swings as well as a toddler boat designed specifically for ages 2 and up. The family will love this shaded play area which also features plenty of picnic tables and barbecues and a large grassy area.

Picnic Island Playground

Picnic Island's playground is suitable for children of all ages and features a spinning saucer, basket swing, cubby house, soft fall mounds and talking tubes. Plus, there are the giant ficus trees that are perfect for a game of hide and seek! And if that's not enough to keep the kids entertained, make sure you do some wildlife spotting – eastern water dragons are often seen in the area and there's a pond nearby filled with lots of colourful native fish.

Aquativity

Aquativity, a fun and interactive water-play park, is a great location for children and families to play, learn and enjoy the outdoors. It features a range of educational play elements that reference the Brisbane River, local catchments, native fish and mammal species (such as mullet and dugong), and the water cycle. It’s also free to use, is patrolled by lifeguards all year round and is open daily from 9am to 7pm.
