Wintergarden

Wintergarden first opened in the 1920s as The Wintergarden Theatre before it was revitalised in 1981 to become the mall’s first shopping centre. This Queen Street Mall shopping mecca is where you will find local and national boutiques trading over multiple levels.

Enter Wintergarden from either Queen Street Mall or Edward St and start shopping at retailers including Cue, Dinosaur Designs, Seed, Zara and Mecca Maxima. Work your way further into the shopping centre and look for Aquila, Peter Jackson, Pigeonhole, Nine West and Sheike.

The upper level of Wintergarden has several casual restaurants, such as Grill'd, plus entertainment including Strike and Holey Moley Golf Club and a Goodlife Health Club.

Located in the heart of The City, Wintergarden is easily accessible by public transport and only a short walk away from Central Station, Eagle St and bus stations including King George Square and Uptown.

Wintergarden opens from 9am to 5.30pm Monday to Thursday, 9am to 9pm Friday, 9am to 5pm Saturday and 10am to 5pm Sunday. Secure Parking operates the 24-hour Wintergarden Car Park. Enter via Elizabeth St and make sure you book online for the best parking deals.

170 Queen Street

Previously known as Broadway on the Mall, 170 Queen Street is a three-level retail centre located in the heart of Queen Street Mall. Featuring two key international brands, H&M and Uniqlo, 170 Queen Street is also part of the Wintergarden complex, located directly across the mall. Walk through the flagship stores to Broadway on Adelaide where you'll discover a treasure trove of homewares, kitchen and bathroom accessories and stationery at Daiso on the lower level. You'll also find Jan Logan's elegant jewellery and Jimmy Rods Barbershop. Opening hours vary among retailers.

Uptown

The largest of Queen Street Mall’s shopping centres, six-level Uptown sits at the George St end of the mall. On the very top levels, you’ll find Event Cinemas and the FunHouse games arcade, along with Lincraft, Daiso and other big-name retailers. The lower two floors house a massive food court spanning two levels, a Target department store and a Coles Express supermarket.

MacArthur Central

MacArthur Central is always a hive of activity, thanks in large part to Woolworths, one of the only full-sized supermarkets in The City. On the basement floor, you can find a BWS bottle shop, Priceline Pharmacy and several grab-and-go food outlets. On the ground and upper floors, you’ll find a two-level Big W department store, JB HiFi, and food and drink retailers. On the exterior street levels flanking Edward and Queen Streets, shop Paspaley, TAG Heuer, Hugo Boss, Longines, the APM Monaco jewellery store and The City’s only Apple Store.

We recommend securing your parking spot ahead of time with Secure Parking Brisbane City. This car park is closed on public holidays.
