This is a hosted stay through Hipcamp, below is the information provided by the Host regarding their offering.
Settled in 1866 by Mr. Robert Brown. The land supported his family in a timber slab walled
house. Originally with an earth floor with some flat sandstone rocks in areas (most likely was the media room :). For water, dry wells were dug and timber lined. (Reminance is
still in-situ). The farm is now used for beef cattle and a small amount of dry land hay production. Still rearing families, we want to leave the land better than we arrived and farm in a sustainable practice. Pets welcome however must remain on leash or tether
*Please notify us if bringing a dog* Please clean up after your dog ready for the next camper. Fires permitted only in fire-rings provided. Check for local fire ban restrictions first.
There is plenty of wood lying around for use (bring your axe or saw). The camp has an undercover area (6x5), longdrop loo, fire pits, bbq plate for over fire. There is a raised bath
tub to set a fire underneath and have a long
hot soak. (Fresh bulk rainwater
is available in the extras).
