Vinted Vineer began as a spark between a group of Brisbane schoolmates who turned friendship into music. What started with a:er-school demos in a bedroom slowly grew into something bigger, with Dominic Ritchie and Charlie Normoyle piecing together songs for no reason other than the joy of creating. Joined soon after by their long-time mate Koen Yoshida-MarCn, the three laid the foundations for what would become Vinted Vineer —a band grounded as much in friendship as in sound.
Years later, fate tied the story back to the beginning. Caleb Sharie, who had unknowingly crossed paths with the band many times, stepped behind the kit. Having shared classrooms in primary school with the others, his arrival brought an almost descended sense of completion to the four-piece. In the studio, Vinted Vineer leans into textured, dream-laden sounds that feel thick, layered, and meticulous. On stage, those same songs take on a raw edge, the kind of performances that leave crowds asking how such dense recordings can possibly be recreated live. Steadily carving their place in Brisbane’s music scene, VV move forward with the same drive and creative spark that first set things in motion.
