Sarah Levins crafts transcendent alt-folk recordings with her unmissable voice at the centre. A striking multi-instrumentalist, she is known for eclectic live performances, incisive lyrics, and genre experimentation, described as “a musical genius in every sense of the word” (triple j). Her recently released EP Eye Spy garnered widespread acclaim, including rotation on KEXP Seattle, Double J, fbi radio, 2SER, a global sync with Microsoft, airplay on Triple J, ABC Radio, Triple J Unearthed, 3RRR, PBS FM, feature interviews, articles in The Music, Somersault Magazine, Demure Mag, and editorial playlisting on Spotify and Apple Music. Support highlights include Texas (UK), Bess Atwell (UK), Velvet Trip, and Ruby Gill.
Eye Spy fuses orchestral, future-folk arrangements and Levins’ soaring voice with intimate, observational songwriting, exploring scale and life’s circular motion. Co-produced by Jerome Blazé and mastered by GRAMMY-nominated Andrei Eremin, the EP has been translated live in sold-out performances and the video series In The Ring, featuring underground Sydney venues and a 150-year-old pipe organ. This culminated in Eye Spy Live in Concert at The Vanguard, presented alongside her six-piece band and contributions from Sydney artists including Beryl, Jerome Blazé, Huck Hastings, Oliver Beard, and Chris Lanzon.
