Hot Apple Band is Sydney’s most talented revivalist of 60s/70s rock, folk, and alt-country, fronted by multi-instrumentalists Jack Kinder and Lewis Mosley. Weaving lush, vintage-authentic sound, they channel George Harrison, CSNY, and Harry Nilsson into the modern day, alongside influences like Daniel Romano, Weyes Blood, and The Lemon Twigs. Formerly Noodle House, the project began as Jack Kinder’s solo venture, releasing cult singles ‘Til The End’ (2018) and ‘One Day (I’ll See)’ (2019). With Lewis Mosley joining and adding his signature slide guitar, the duo evolved into a must-see live ensemble, performing across Sydney and the east coast with acts such as Caitlin Harnett & The Pony Boys, Andy Golledge, Leah Senior, and others.
During the pandemic, the band became more mysterious, sporadically performing while working on their debut album, So Long, Noodle House. Upgraded home studio sessions and DIY production refined the songs over three years, creating a symbolic farewell to Noodle House. The 11-track album spans country-tinged rock, pop, and cinematic folk ballads, combining Jack’s smooth vocals and arrangement skills with Lewis’s memorable guitar and keyboard work. With vintage charm and modern appeal, So Long, Noodle House promises to captivate longtime fans and newcomers alike.
